With the coming New Year, some of our games and site features will be receiving tweaks and updates. While many of them will be able to be done as you play, others will require certain features on the site being removed for short periods of time.

Dragon Quest will be the first to receive its face-lift, and while I know you will miss it terribly while it is gone, you can prepare and look forward to its better than ever return. Save up that DC folks, you'll need it. XD

Meet Calais. He's a bit testy, but he's new and I know you will all want to be very nice to him. Here's what Calais had to say for his introductions.

From the windows of the highrise apartments in Evo, night-owls notice a set of headlights in the alley. Looking even closer, they notice that the lights are coming from behind the city stores. What could possibly be delivered in the middle of the night? It would have to be something special, wouldn't you think.

Waking early the next morning, you see the morning newspaper on the table. Front Page headline reads, "Newly invented icecream flavors just released!" Hmmm, that's what the lights were behind the ice cream factory last night!

'Twas the night before Christmas and throughout EvoCity
Not a creature was stirring...except Killer Kitty.
He was stalking and prowling down Evo's main street,
Searching and scrounging for something to eat.

In the meantime, Ivy, the little drake mouse
Was sitting and worrying just outside of her house.
She's sitting there worried as the snow falls and drifts,
you see, poor little Ivy had no DC to buy gifts.

When suddenly she sensed with her little drake nose
something dangerous was coming, she stood on her toes...
Killer Kitty pounced! He leapt with a growl.
His sharp teeth, they were shining. His breath, it was foul.

But Ivy was quick, as Kitty found out,
she dodged just in time and then turned about,
"What's wrong with you?" the little drake shouted.
Killer Kitty sat up, and he frowned, and he pouted.

"I thought we were friends," Ivy then said.
"If I hadn't been quick, I would have been dead!
If 'dinner' is what the word 'friend' means to you,
then you can just sit here, outside, 'til you're blue!

"You tried to eat me!" little Ivy went on,
and with a twitch of her whiskers and tail, she was gone.
But she didn't go far, just into her house.
Killer Kitty just sat there, he felt like a louse.

"She's right," Killer Kitty thought, "What's the matter
with me? That was awful." And as he thought, he grew sadder.
He sat and he sniffled and he heaved a great sigh,
His shoulders were shaking, he started to cry!

And Ivy, inside of her home warm and cozy,
Heard Kitty's crying and soon became nosy.
She open the door of her home just a crack,
she silently stood and watched Kitty's back.

Killer Kitty sat sniffling and crying, unaware
of the little drake Ivy's compassionate stare.
Slowly she walked up to Kitty's great hide,
she put her arm 'round him and said, "Please, come inside.

"Come sit by my fire and warm your cold feet.
Have something to drink and something to eat.
Sit by my fire and tell me your trouble,
if you keep it inside, it will grow and will double."

So they sat side by side long into the night,
Each confiding in the other, their own sorrowful plight.
Killer Kitty was grateful, his hunger was eased.
He and Ivy were friends again, and for that he was pleased.

And Ivy herself was beginning to find
a great deal of comfort inside her own mind.
For inside her head the idea came to form
while sitting with Kitty where it was dry, safe, and warm,

Christmas isn't about giving the things that cost money,
it's about sharing with family, friends, and even your honey.
Christmas is sharing warm feelings and love...
And those are the things we could all use more of.

This Christmas morning, when you roll out of bed,
Instead of opening your presents, consider instead
Pausing to give someone a hug and well-wishes, too.
May the Holiday Spirit bestow blessings on you!

HO HO HO - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from your EVO family. Tis that time of year again to watch for Santa and his reindeer. He is watching you, so better be good for your mommies and daddies for goodness sake. As you know, its getting cold and icy outside, so be extra careful as you make your way to friends and relatives homes. And please don’t let grandma out on her own as she just might get ran over by Santas reindeer! LOL.
