Taka Once upon a midnight clear The young dragons wake, and then they cheer As they realize that the summer is nigh As noted by the brilliance of the sun in the sky The young dragons are seen flying After gorging on pie Flipping and soaring On a windswept high They pass over mountains Over the dens of rodents meek And greet their friends the eagles By the mountain's peak And then they reach the sea Where they take an airborne leap And dive into the turquoise waters With the dolphins in the ocean deep The dragons return at the brink of sundown Gleaming with crystalline droplets From their romp in the sea They settle down together in Their homes of pure comfort And prepare for the next day of summer As happy as dragons can be Second place entry by strawberrichic Once upon a midnight clear.... Evo dragons were unsure on how to feel cheer For its summer, nothing to do They sat back and pondered for a few "What can we do" the dragon asked "For I want this summer to truly be a blast" One answered "I know what we can do" "So sit back and let the ideas I tell you now stew" "We will fly through the night keeping evil at bay" "We will go sit with igloo on a hot summers day" "We will play with our collections and spend our dc" "We will glide through the air, our wings spread feeling free" The dragon that first asked speaks up again And says "well yes we can also make tons of friends" The wise one nods and says "The summer is only begun" "Just remember anything any dragon does our hearts are as one" So the summer ensues bordeom no longer The dragons getting stronger Happiness through out evo land And the summer finally comes to a blissful end. Third place entry by RawRRRR Once upon a midnight clear I heard a whisper in my ear Come into my house we can bake I looked to the left to see a Plaike Slowly I followed the Plaike into his house There I observed a creature that was wearing a blouse! Lucid is my name and this is not a blouse it is my Drake whom is a mouse. The lucid and Plaike baked all day Uptown is where they spent the night away. The next day they met up with a mioon. The mioon had to go to the Arcansi jungle so he said "See you soon!" The Lucid and Plaike went to the Jungle a week later There they saw a creature that looked like a gator! "I am a Didalis" The gator stated He was eating eggs that were highly out dated! "Ewwwww" The Plaike and Lucid had said, The Didlas exclaimed, "What it tastes like bread!?" The Plaike and Lucid thought he was a freak, But then noticed, he was just unique. They all just played the summer away I can definitely say, the summer on evoworld in 2009 was definitely not grey. |
